Known to many as "Wee Nuls," Nuala has become one of Northern Ireland's most recognisable contemporary artists. Her bold colours, playful illustrations and unmistakable visual style tackle subjects including feminism, body image, equality and period poverty, proving that serious conversations need not always be delivered with solemnity.

Her work transforms public spaces into opportunities for dialogue. Campaigns such as Bloody Beautiful challenged long-standing stigma surrounding menstruation while advocating for greater accessibility to period products. Through striking visual storytelling, she encourages audiences to engage with issues that have too often remained hidden.

Beyond her own artistic practice, Nuala has helped strengthen Belfast's wider creative community. Through festivals, public art initiatives and collaborative projects, she has created opportunities for emerging artists while contributing to a city increasingly recognised for its vibrant visual culture.
